Suzanne McDermott
Versatile illustrator, artist, writer, musician and creative project master, Suzanne McDermott managed this book project, created the 60 illustrations, designed the book and cover for the writer, Julia Low. Suzanne can be found at suzannemcdermott.com.
Suzanne was introduced to watercolor at the age of five, studied fine art, design, and art history at The Philadelphia Museum of Art, Santa Monica College, Ringling School of Art & Design, and earned a BA in Humanities (Drama, Art and Music) from New College of Florida. Privately commissioned for most of her work over the past forty years, Suzanne’s work has been featured in solo and group shows across the U.S. since 1981, including five exhibits in North Carolina immediately following her arrival in Raleigh in late 2013.
